Job purpose:
To coordinate and fulfill clients’ transportation requirements in alignment with our company’s operational guidelines, by ensuring that their expectations are met seamlessly.
Responsibilities:
Coordinates and executes all domestic/International inbound & outbound shipments bookings; work closely with all vendors and ensuring that shipments are handled as per the clients’ requirements.
Facilitate and expedite communication between clients, suppliers, and our project control center in the region to minimize delays.
Oversee material tracking system to make sure that customer receives real time material status information and reports as needed.
Verifies that all customer routing instructions are being followed to ensure on-time and accurate shipping processes.
Monitor delivery schedules and coordinate with warehouse, Airfreight and Sea freight departments to ensure on-time delivery; Assists, through the administrative process, in execution of all imports and exports to and from warehouse and ensure best possible service is provided while maintaining cost effectiveness.
Investigate and determine the possible routine of customer shipments to assure prompt service.
Elevate all potential problems and opportunities for improvement to Operations Supervisor
Process all export/import bookings, documentation, and dispatch requirements accurately and within agreed timeframes including liaising with carriers for pre bookings and allocations.
Ensure that document processing requirements meet agreed customer service standards.
Ensure that all documentation is filed or scanned as per operational and company requirements.
Ensure all entries are done and cleared for export or import.
Monitor the shipments and ensure they are being processed accurately.
Provide quotes of carrier’s services and rates to prospective clients.
Liaise with other departments as required to develop positive working relationships to ensure compliance and to limit unnecessary delays due to inadequate processes and non-compliance issues
Action all financial related queries immediately and ensure meaningful resolutions to queries
