As a Junior Logistics Engineer in our Contract Logistics Division, you will play a key role in shaping logistics solutions across 100+ locations in 20 countries. Your responsibilities will include designing data-driven warehouse layouts, supporting the implementation of new contracts in cross-functional teams, and contributing to innovation through automation and new technologies.

These are your key tasks:

Analyze inbound and outbound logistics flows to determine optimal warehouse locations and layouts based on customer requirements.

Translate customer data into physical processes and develop detailed warehouse designs, including labor, investment, and IT cost elements.

Prepare and present data-driven proposals and solutions to internal stakeholders and customers.

Collaborate with sales and site teams to support pricing and participate in customer meetings.

Contribute to the creation and execution of project plans for new contract implementations, ensuring timely coordination across departments.

Track project progress, provide updates to stakeholders, and monitor adherence to budgets.

Evaluate existing processes for improvement opportunities and integrate innovative technologies such as automation into solutions.

Share innovative ideas and best practices within the logistics engineering community

Requirements

Master’s degree (MSc) in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Warehouse Management, or a related field

Entry-level or 2-3 years of relevant practical experience in logistics, supply chain operations, or warehouse process design

Strong analytical skills with proficiency in excel and/or other data processing tools; experience in handling complex data sets is a plus

Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional and multicultural teams

Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal

Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects or tasks simultaneously

Interest in innovation and willingness to explore new technologies in logistics operations

Fluent in English; additional languages are an asset

Willingness to travel occasionally within the EMEA region
