Savino Del Bene Australia is looking for a Junior Import Airfreight Operator to join our team in Arndell Park. Working within a supportive and knowledgeble operations team, you will gain hands on experience in the world of global airfreight. This is a full time, on site, permanent role.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Coordinate import airfreight shipments from arrival to final delivery.
- Liaise with clients, overseas offices, airlines, transport providers, and CTOs.
- Working closely with customs brokerage and transport teams to ensure smooth shipment processing.
- Enter data and job updates within CargoWise/EDI systems.
- Assist with billing, job costing and underbond movements.
What we are looking for:
- Minimum 1 year experience in freight forwarding.
- Strong attention to detail and able to work in a fast paced environment.
- Excellent organisation and communication skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Exposure to Cargowise, an advantage.
