We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Junior Logistics Assistant to support our growing operations.
This position is ideal for someone with previous logistics experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple shipments, and building relationships with carriers and customers.
The successful candidate will play an important role in coordinating domestic and international freight movements while supporting the daily execution of our logistics operations.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic and cross-border shipments between the United States, Canada, and Brazil.
- Schedule pickups and deliveries with carriers and customers.
- Track shipments and provide status updates to customers and partners.
- Communicate with carriers, warehouses, and logistics providers.
- Support freight brokerage operations for FTL and LTL shipments.
- Prepare and review shipping documentation and operational records.
- Resolve shipment delays, delivery issues, and operational exceptions.
- Maintain accurate shipment information and follow-up activities.
- Assist with warehousing, consolidation, and distribution activities when required.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers and customers.
Requirements
- 1–2 years of experience in logistics, transportation, freight forwarding, or international trade.
- Experience coordinating shipments and working with carriers.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
- Experience with cross-border logistics is considered a strong asset.
- Experience with the U.S., Canadian, or Brazilian markets is an asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- English and Portuguese are required.
