Position Summary:
The Inventory Clerk must be ateam-orientedindividual capable of working in afast-paced,dynamic environment. The Inventory Clerk is responsible for incoming inventory, staging, organizing, and returning stock to inventory. The Inventory Clerk will report directly to the Purchasing/Inventory Manager daily. The Inventory Associate/Backup Delivery Driver will have contact with other departments and will be required to work in conjunction with theshipping and receiving, letter shop, imaging, and CSR.
The Inventory Associate/Backup Delivery Driver is responsible for reviewing and understanding the specific instructions pertaining to orders, paying close attention to material requirements and inventory transactions, and driving the company box truck when the regular driver is out.
Essential Functions:
Set-up and stage all jobs for Letter shop.
Verify correct material for job is pulled.
Add incoming material to inventory system.
Record Inventory transactions.
Understand and follow safety procedures regarding the operation of equipment.
Operate power industrial equipment such as sit-down forklifts and various styles of pallet jacks.
Clean and maintain work area.
Complete forkliftsafety training.
Perform various other duties as required.
Updates Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) daily with inventory received and used.
BACKUP DELIVERY DRIVER DUTIES
Load and unload vehicles.
Follow written and verbal geographic locations.
Verify the contents of inventory loads against shipping papers.
Maintain records such as Vehicle Logs, Records of Cargo, and Billing Statements.
Understand and follow all safety procedures.
Maintain cleanliness of company vehicles.
Ability to use sound judgment forproblem solvingandattention to detail.
Package finished products for shipping (shrink wrap pallets, boxing, etc.)
Unload and ensure accuracy of all incoming deliveries and distribute them to appropriate person/department.
Complete daily shipping log.
Assist USPS in mail verification process.
Load finished product on trucks ensuring accuracy.
Load/unload and call recycle truck.
Maintain safe, clean, and organized work area.
Process UPS/Fed Ex Shipments.
Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Education and Experience:
A High School Degree, GED or an equivalent combination ofeducationand experience in lieu of a degree.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Basic computer skills.
Basic math skills.
Basic mechanical skills.
Basic troubleshooting skills.
