Inventory and Warehouse Operations Coordinator Jobs in McKinney, TX at TXF Light Source

TXF Light Source is looking for an organized, dependable, and motivated Inventory & Warehouse Coordinator to join our team.

This is a hands-on, full-time position that combines warehouse operations, inventory management, customer service, sales support, and seasonal operations for our Christmas lighting and fireworks businesses.

We are looking for someone who can take ownership of day-to-day warehouse operations, maintain accurate inventory, build relationships with customers and contractors, and help manage the increased demands of our busy seasonal periods.

Responsibilities

Warehouse & Inventory Management

  • Receive incoming shipments, count and verify products, and put inventory away accurately and in a timely manner
  • Document shipment discrepancies and work with vendors or shipping companies to identify and resolve errors
  • Pick, pack, and prepare customer pickup and outgoing orders accurately and efficiently
  • Perform regular inventory cycle counts
  • Investigate inventory variances and make necessary corrections
  • Maintain accurate product locations and inventory records
  • Coordinate pickup and delivery appointments with UPS, FedEx, freight carriers, and other vendors
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
  • Keep aisles clear and ensure products and boxes are stored properly
  • Help ensure safe and efficient operation of all warehouse functions

Operations

  • Open and close the warehouse, including setting alarms, locking/unlocking doors, opening and closing registers, and preparing deposits
  • Schedule routine maintenance for company vehicles and material-handling equipment
  • Help oversee operations at additional seasonal or company locations
  • Assist with hiring, training, scheduling, and managing seasonal employees
  • Help coordinate operations during high-volume Christmas lighting and fireworks seasons
  • Complete additional operational tasks and projects as needed

Customer Service & Sales

  • Maintain strong relationships with existing contractors and customers
  • Learn TXF Light Source products and become proficient in answering product questions and troubleshooting customer issues
  • Assist customers with selecting appropriate products and solutions
  • Develop new contractor and customer relationships through cold calling, follow-up communication, and in-person meetings
  • Identify opportunities to grow existing customer accounts
  • Attend trade shows, conventions, training events, and other industry events as needed

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of inventory control, warehouse, or related operations experience required
  • 1+ year of sales or customer service experience preferred
  • Experience with online sales platforms such as Amazon and/or Shopify is a plus
  • Familiarity with e-commerce order processing, product listings, inventory updates, or online fulfillment is preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to anticipate problems and develop practical solutions
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and priorities simultaneously
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and under pressure during peak seasons
  • Ability to meet deadlines and follow through on responsibilities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with data entry and inventory/WMS systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to learn and operate POS and inventory systems
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
  • Clean driving record is preferred

Pay: $60,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year
