Join Jitto as an Operations Intern in Etobicoke, where you’ll play a crucial role in logistics and operations starting every morning at 3:30 AM. Your contributions will directly impact our supply chain efficiency.
This internship offers a unique hands-on experience in the fast-paced wholesale produce sector. Working closely with the operations team, you will handle supplier relations, manage orders, and optimize processes for better performance.
Your role on the warehouse floor and in the office is critical for enhancing our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate logistics and resolve issues with drivers
• Source produce during market hours
• Ensure accuracy and quality of outgoing orders
• Monitor order performance in real time
• Develop and implement operational improvement projects
Requirements:
• Attending a Canadian college or university
• Vehicle required for transportation to early shifts
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
• Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs
• Experience in warehouse or food service is a plus
