Job Description

Export & Import Management

⁠Handle end-to-end import and export operations, including documentation, customs clearance, and regulatory compliance.

⁠Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs agents, and government agencies to ensure smooth shipment processes.

⁠ ⁠Trade Compliance & Documentation

⁠Ensure all trade activities comply with international trade regulations, INCOTERMS, and customs requirements.

Prepare and review shipping documents such as Bill of Lading, Packing List, Commercial Invoice, Certificate of Origin, and Letters of Credit.

⁠ ⁠Logistics & Supply Chain Coordination

Manage and optimize international shipping routes to reduce costs and improve efficiency.

Monitor shipments, track deliveries, and resolve any logistical issues that may arise.

⁠ ⁠Vendor & Partner Management

⁠Liaise with suppliers, buyers, logistics providers, and financial institutions to facilitate trade transactions.

Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements with international vendors.

⁠ ⁠Risk Management & Problem-Solving

⁠Identify potential risks in international trade operations and implement mitigation strategies.

Resolve issues related to shipment delays, customs holds, or compliance discrepancies.

⁠ ⁠Reporting & Continuous Improvement

Maintain accurate records of trade activities and provide reports on trade performance, costs, and compliance.

Analyze trade processes and propose improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.

Qualifications

⁠Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.

Minimum 2 years of experience in international trade, logistics, or export-import operations.

⁠Strong understanding of INCOTERMS, customs regulations, and international shipping documentation.

⁠Proficiency in handling Letters of Credit, trade compliance, and customs clearance processes.

⁠Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.

⁠Ability to work with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and global suppliers.

⁠Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

⁠Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ERP/trade management systems.

⁠Fluency in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus.
