What you’ll own


Logistics Execution

  • Plan and manage inbound/outbound/intercompany logistics across all modes, domestic and international.
  • Ensure on‑time, accurate delivery of raw materials and finished goods.
  • Lead shipping and receiving operations and enforce robust SOPs.
  • Enter and validate customer/internal orders in QAD, including correct pricing.
  • Monitor and improve OTIF, transit time, and freight efficiency metrics.


Warehouse Excellence

  • Direct internal and 3PL operations: receiving, storage, picking, packing, shipping, recycling, wash & pack, and inventory control.
  • Optimize space, layout, and labor productivity while meeting safety, quality, and environmental standards.
  • Reduce material damage; increase accuracy and productivity through data‑driven actions.
  • Manage raw, finished, and consignment inventories at customer sites, including pricing and receiving.


Trade & Regulatory Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to U.S. and international shipping/trade regulations and USMCA requirements.
  • Prepare and manage hazardous waste manifests (per regulatory guidelines).
  • Oversee the accuracy of international shipping documentation and support trade audits.
  • Support IMDS reporting; maintain chemical traceability to meet regulatory and customer needs.
  • Manage customs brokers, freight forwarders, and international logistics providers.


Financial Stewardship & CI

  • Build and manage logistics and inventory budgets.
  • Assist with carrier sourcing and negotiations.
  • Identify cost‑savings and process improvements using continuous improvement methodologies.


Systems, Schedules & Visibility

  • Use ERP (QAD) to manage logistics/inventory and protect master data accuracy.
  • Create leadership reports and dashboards.
  • Optimize a production control function that provides level schedules to manufacturing areas.
  • Strengthen visual systems to show schedule status; collaborate with customers and manufacturing to reduce demand/production variation and safety stock.


Collaboration & Growth

  • Supervise and develop logistics/inventory personnel.
  • Partner with Compliance and Sustainability on environmental and trade alignment.
  • Coordinate with tooling contractors and internal teams for logistics support and material readiness.
  • Support Purchasing with packaging and logistics functions.
  • Enable NPIs, site expansions, and network transitions.


What you bring


Required

  • Bachelor’s in Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics, Business, or related field.
  • 7+ years’ experience in manufacturing logistics and inventory management.
  • Expertise in inventory control, warehouse operations, and transportation management.
  • ERP and inventory system proficiency.
  • Proven vendor, budget, and KPI management.
  • Advanced Excel (charts, formulas).


Preferred

  • QAD ERP experience.
  • Knowledge of ITAR, CTPAT, and Free Trade Zones.
  • Experience managing outsourced production and coordinating supplier logistics timing and movement.
