Core Responsibilities
Centrally manage and organize international shipments, ensuring all global documentation is accurate and complete.
Provide essential training to packaging staff on shipment documentation and packaging protocols.
Facilitate seamless communications among customer service, logistics, and freight forwarding teams to optimize order consolidation.
Stay updated on international shipping laws to ensure compliance and adjust distribution strategies as needed.
Keep meticulous records of shipping documents, following retention policies.
Create comprehensive standard operating procedures for international logistics.
Lead collaborations with freight providers to fulfill client expectations.
Assume additional projects and tasks as they arise.
Qualifications & Preferred Traits
Must-Have Elements:
High School Diploma or GED completed
At least 3 years of hands-on experience in worldwide shipping
Solid understanding of Free Trade Agreements
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel
Previous work experience with supply chain tools like Oracle or SAP
Familiarity with ACE software for international operations
Desirable Skills:
Prior domestic shipping experience
Experience with machinery like forklifts or enthusiasm to acquire such skills
