Job Summary:

At Solvera Logistics, the International Logistics Coordinator plays a critical role in managing the global movement of goods by planning, coordinating, and executing transportation and distribution operations. This position oversees import and export logistics for our customers, ensuring adherence to international shipping laws and regulations. The ideal candidate is highly organized, an effective communicator, and experienced in managing intricate logistics processes within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Logistics Coordination:

Manage and coordinate all aspects of international logistics operations, including ocean, air, and ground transportation. Coordinate with carriers, customs brokers, and global agentsto ensure efficient shipment execution

Manage Importer Security Filing (ISF) and Automated Export System (AES) submissions, ensuring compliance with U.S. Customs regulations

Track shipment progress and swiftly resolve any transportation or customs-related issues

Documentation and Compliance:

Prepare and submit accurate, timely shipping documents such as Bills of Lading (BOL), Delivery Orders (DO), Commercial Invoices (CIV), and Authority to Make Entry (ATME)

Maintain organized records of all shipment documentation and communications for audit readiness and regulatory compliance

Team Collaboration and Communication:

Coordinate closely with internal departments and external partners to manage timely shipments and deliveries

Provide clear, proactive updates to customers on shipment statuses and potential delays

Work collaboratively with the carrier sales team on Less-than-Container Load (LCL) shipments and the drayage team on Full Container Load (FCL) movements

Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

Monitor logistics performance through key metrics and generate regular operational reports

Analyze logistics data to identify trends and propose strategies for process improvement and cost efficiency

Qualifications:

Proficiency in logistics management software (e.g., Magaya, SAP, or similar systems)

Strong industry knowledge, including container handling, port operations, drayage coordination, and shipping documentation

In-depth understanding of global trade regulations, import/export compliance, and customs requirements

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities

Strong verbal and written communication skills with exceptional attention to detail

Ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and work independently in a high-volume environment

3+ years of experience in international operations
