American Marine Express (AMX) is seeking an experienced Intermodal Customer Service Specialist to join our growing Miami / Port Everglades operations.
Location: Doral, FL (On-Site Only)
THIS IS NOT AN ENTRY-LEVEL POSITION
We are looking for someone with hands-on intermodal/drayage experience who can step in and make an immediate impact.
Responsibilities
• Provide exceptional customer service to our customers
• Coordinate container movements with dispatch and drivers
• Schedule and manage port and rail appointments
• Communicate with steamship lines, terminals, warehouses, and customers
• Resolve service issues quickly and professionally
• Work closely with operations to ensure freight moves efficiently
Qualifications
• Minimum 2 years of Intermodal/Drayage customer service experience (Required)
• Experience using port appointment systems such as PortMiami, Port Everglades, eModal, TermPoint, GTI, Tideworks, or similar terminal platforms
• Knowledge of container freight and port operations
• Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude
• Dependable, accountable, and looking for a long-term career—we are not looking for job hoppers
