Role And Responsibilities
Lead the Long haul department end-to-end including demand generation, supply of vehicles and operations. This will be a P&L responsibility.
Manage the team involved in Long-haul operations.
Identifying and building relations with customers who require inter-city transportation in temperature-controlled vehicles.
Understanding client requirements and planning vehicles’ placement
Develop and nurture relationships with fleet owners to ensure supply of vehicles
Planning return loads, optimizing vehicle utilization and deciding freight for various lanes.
Required Skills/experience
Min 3-5 years of experience managing logistics and supply chain
High energy and ownership
Excellent people management skills
A strong balance of planning and hustling
Should be able to roll up their sleeves to get the job done when required
