Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Logistics Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in optimizing our supply chain operations, ensuring efficient inventory management, and enhancing overall logistics processes. This position requires a strong understanding of e-commerce logistics, transportation management systems, and inventory control practices.
Duties
Analyze and improve logistics processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability while minimizing excess.
Coordinate with third-party logistics providers (3PL) for effective order fulfillment and distribution.
Oversee dispatching operations and ensure timely delivery of goods.
Utilize transportation management systems to track shipments and manage freight movements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline order picking and fulfillment processes.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to logistics operations and report findings to management.
Develop and maintain documentation related to logistics procedures and best practices.
Skills
Proficiency in e-commerce logistics and inventory management techniques.
Strong knowledge of dispatching processes and transportation management systems.
Experience with 3PL partnerships and inventory control methodologies.
Familiarity with order picking, order fulfillment, freight handling, and distribution center operations.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data effectively.
Strong communication skills for collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced environment.
