This position is responsible for the implementation of the sales tactics as they relate to the organization’s Sales and Marketing Plan.

We are looking for an individual that will have the ability to transfer from inside sales to store front/counter sales operations.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Answer incoming calls

Make a minimum of sixty (60) outbound calls per day

Process customer orders with ability to up-sell and cross-sell through received phone, email, or fax

Update customer records

Note all customer interactions in CRM

Respond to customer requests regarding service, products, and account information

Analyze and rectify customer concerns using various procedures and communication with various departments

Troubleshoot and resolve customer complaints to orders, delivery dates or service issues

Liaison between the customer and freight carriers

Provide technical support and provide tracking information

Prepare and provide customer pricing quotes

Generate additional sales through tele sales activity

Create and update portal entries for all equipment repairs

Communicate and collaborate with other inside and outside team members

Qualify sales leads and prospects

Participate in trade shows as needed

Complete Monthly Sales Report

Punctuality and regular attendance

NON-ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Keep showroom organized, if applicable

Check product stock for sales

Assist with Inventories

All other duties assigned

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Physical ability to do work requires but not limited to bending, sitting and standing for 8+ hours

Physical ability to do work requires lifting 1 to 75 pounds

Must be able to drive a forklift and company vehicles

Must be able to load and unload equipment with or without assist

COMPENTENCY, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

Ability to change focus frequently and often while being detail oriented and well organized

Ability to solve problems and work independently and as a team

Ability to communicate effectively with customers, management, and inter-department personnel

Strong computer skills with Microsoft (Word, Excel, and Outlook)

Strong work ethic and positive attitude

Able to work in a high-pressure, challenging environment

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

REQUIRED:

High school diploma or equivalent

PREFERRED:

2+ years prior sales experience

Strong knowledge of the sewer and drain industry and products

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

Minimal travel may be required for training, trade shows, and annual meetings
