**Job Description:**
As Independent Freight Sales Agent, your role is crucial in bridging customers and freight carriers, ensuring smooth, efficient, and cost-effective freight transport. Utilize your industry know-how, negotiation prowess, and sales expertise to foster relationships, drive new business, and boost RTC’s freight logistics services.
**Key Responsibilities:**

Develop new client relationships within the freight market.
Negotiate pricing agreements to ensure competitive rates, service quality, and profitability.
Manage freight shipments end-to-end, resolving any logistical challenges.
Collaborate with operations to enhance supply chain processes.
Build and maintain robust relationships with clients and carriers.
Monitor market trends and competitors to stay ahead.
Achieve sales goals and adhere to performance metrics.
Maintain comprehensive records of sales and prospecting activities.
**Qualifications:**

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or related field preferred.
Minimum of 1-year experience in freight sales or logistics.
Strong understanding of the freight/transportation industry.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.
Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
