Inbound Logistics Manager
Our client is currently seeking an Inbound Logistics Manager with a proven track record of running a logistics team within the fashion industry. You will be responsible for all import documentation and keeping accurate records, sending of ASNs to warehouses and creating export invoices.
Ideal Candidate
3+ years of experience in managing Inbound shipments with the Fashion Industry
Ability to multi-task working across multiple projects and deadlines, and effectively prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment.
A problem solver with strong organisational skills, anticipating issues and quick to react when they do arise.
Being able to work under direction as part of a team as well as self-sufficiently on assigned tasks.
Approachable personality with good interpersonal skills and motivation to learn.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Experience with Zedonk would be beneficial but not essential.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Manage all stock movements inbound to UK and EU warehouse on Zedonk working closely with Logistics Manager on inbound shipments
Manage all Inbound AIR and SEA shipments with forwarders to both UK and EU
Manage the planning and tracking of orders and shipments from supplier to warehouse
Manage the process of sending shipment information to freight forwarders.
Establish and maintain good working relationships with external partners, ie freight forwarders and suppliers
Working closely with production on inbound POs
Be responsible for all import documentation and keeping accurate records, sending of ASNs to warehouses and creating export invoices.
Liaise with customers’ queries and requests, assisting with planning shipments to their requirements and updating information on customer portals.
Ensure accurate records of deliveries are kept, checking supplier invoices, customer POs and delivery paperwork.
Monitor and resolve any system and warehouse discrepancies.
Deal with internal queries regarding the status of stock and seasonal inbound deliveries.
Monitor and regularly communicate inbound overview report, and tracker of inbound POs for wholesale and Ecomm stock
Work closely with the team in implementing steps to avoid delays and quality issues.
Manage the stock inventory across the business to ensure stock levels are correct, eg DT stock
Send weekly stock and inbound reports round to relevant teams
