Job Purpose:
International Freight Officer assign to handle all Ex- Work Import shipment from Pick up till Arrival at Port, Preparing KPI, Preparing Daily, weekly, Monthly, Annual Reports, Freight Cost updating in SAP, Custom Clearance and Freight Forwarder Payments, Paying Express Custom Duties and Records.
Key Accountabilities:
Operational
Responsible for Handle Air and Ocean Import Ex-Work shipments from pick up to Delivery.
Responsible for handling Air Express shipments from pick up to Delivery.
In case-by-case shipments, he should contact the forwarder for a Quotation.
Sending Quotation to Sales for Approval.
Follow up with Forwarders for AWB and ETA.
Apply for DGR and OK2FWD in DG and TC shipments.
Able to Create and Maintain Records of Ex-works shipments in All Ports.
Follow up with forwarders for Freight Invoices before the shipment arrives.
Updating freight cost in SAP once the shipment is released from Airport.
Paying Custom duty to express couriers for all Salehiya shipments.
Responsible for Daily, weekly, Monthly, and Annual Reports.
Prepare KPI every month.
Contacting all forwarders at the end of the year and arranging tender meetings.
Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or Diploma
Minimum Experience: 2-4 years in Freight Forwarding & Custom Clearance experience.
Skills: communication skills, customer-service skills.
Nationality: Any.
