Who You’ll Work With

Reporting directly to the Inbound manager, this role will sit on site at DC (Estado de Mexico) facility. You will be working cross-functionally, both internal & external, on local, LATAM & Geo levels with OCM’s, LSP’s, Transportation, Customs & Trade, DC, and Supply Chain teams like Integrated Fulfilment Planning, Marketplace Supply Chain and areas like, Controlling, DSM – Inventory Operations. This role will also assist in facilitation and support of continuous improvement processes focused on ensure that we stay fast, flexible, and at the proper cost operations.

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for a professional with solid demonstrated experience in end2end supply chain, who will support our quest to always be on the offense, with proven strategic thinking & forecasting management, with a continuous improvement mindset, able to cross-functionally align and communicate, decision making based on data & business oriented.

Bachelor’s degree at International Business, Logistics, International Trade, or related field,

Minimum 5 years’ experience in international logistics,

Strong written and oral communication skills in English,

Strong negotiations, problem solving & critical thinking skills,

Proven experience interpreting carrier rates, contracts and tariffs

Be comfortable with Microsoft Office and SAP system,

Experience managing friendly relationships with carriers or vendors for performance,

Support the execution/operationalization the EtoE of Inbound initiatives,

What You’ll Work On

This role will enable optimal negotiation, planning and performance, to ensure the right on-time shipping & delivery attending business’ needs, working with cross-functional teams.

Manage Inventory at origin, making sure OCM’s will be processing our cargo based on shipping SOP’s,

Monitor cargo during its transit till containers arrival to Mexican port,

Maintain Systems to provide proper visibility to all the involved internal teams,

This role will perform regular research and analysis of key shipment data, including transit time, rating, and additional decision criteria associated with carrier choice

This role will support the on-time delivery and lead time metrics through data analysis and impact assessment

Development and maintenance of Holiday/Peak/non-Peak season operational plans with Stakeholders to enhance capacity needs and to ensure on-time performance

Proactively communicate opportunities to minimize constraints by improving issues and tracking

Initiate, develop, and implement continuous improvement activities to improve performance,

specifically related to cost, service, and compliance for Ocean freight movement (e.g. carrier

selection, Inland mode of transport selection)

Proactively identify inbound transportation cost savings opportunities (e.g. loading container

efficiency, air to Ocean opportunities, accessorial spend review).
