We are looking for an Import Operations Coordinator to join our growing team.
In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating import shipments, liaising with international partners and customers, and working closely with our customs brokerage team to ensure the smooth and timely movement of ships' spares worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor import shipments from origin to final delivery.
- Communicate with customers, overseas agents, suppliers, carriers, and shipping lines.
- Prepare, review, and manage shipping and customs documentation.
- Work closely with the customs brokerage department to ensure efficient customs clearance.
- Track shipments and provide timely updates to customers.
- Ensure high service standards while managing multiple shipments and deadlines.
Requirements
- Previous experience in Freight Forwarding, Logistics, Shipping, or a related industry.
- Familiarity with import procedures and customs clearance processes.
- Excellent knowledge of the English language, both written and spoken.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
