Job summary

Coordination and execution of customer orders in accordance with their requirements and/or procedures.

Handling Airfreight import files from A to Z

Tasks and responsibilities

At least 2 years of work experience as Forwarder Airfreight Import.

Customer order plausibility analysis

Planning / Booking / Transportation orders

Coordination/follow up of the shipment

Customs processing (import)

Documentation/administration/filing/invoicing

Feedback to the customer (internal and external reporting of the shipments to the customer) by various means (mail, phone, electronic data interchange)

Operational troubleshooting

Non-conformance reporting in accordance with the KPI’s.

Cooperation with approved subcontractors in accordance with agreed rates

End to end processing

Punctual and flawless order handling and documentation

Continually seek to improve productivity from quarter to quarter by identifying, learning and with approval from team leader. Implement the most efficient method to complete each process, share processes with fellow team members. New processes shall conform to all corporate and customer standards and requirements.

Authorities

Authorized to perform the above mentioned tasks autonomously

Make recommendations for improvements and/or changes to improve the overall Quality.

Requirements

+3 years of detailed experience of logistics and forwarding operations/regulations and documentation in Airfreight

Preferable a professional degree by a licensed educational institution specialized in logistics and forwarding.

Computer literacy with Microsoft Software applications and /or other market leading software applications.

Good knowledge of English is mandatory

Initiative and strong sense for organization in order to meet customer requirements.

Polyvalent Airfreight forwarding experience (export/import) is an advantage

Extended (export/import) Airfreight customs procedure knowledge is necessary.
