About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Import & Export Specialist to manage cross-border operations between Egypt and Libya, specifically handling recycling materials (waste cardboard in bale form) through the Salloum land port.

The role involves overseeing the full cycle:
Import of raw materials (cardboard waste) from Libya
Coordination of local recycling operations in Egypt
Re-export of processed materials (paper/cardboard) back to Libya

Key Responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end import/export operations via land borders (Salloum crossing)
Handle all documentation (commercial invoice, packing list, certificates, customs clearance)
Coordinate with customs brokers and logistics providers in both Egypt and Libya
Ensure compliance with Egyptian regulations (e.g. General Organization for Export and Import Control)
Manage permits related
to recycling and environmental regulations (e.g. Egyptian Environmental Affairs Agency)
Supervise shipping, trucking, and border clearance processes
Solve operational issues in real-time (delays, inspections, compliance issues)

Required Qualifications
:
Proven experience in import/export operations (preferably Egypt–Libya trade)
Strong knowledge of land border logistics and customs procedures
Experience dealing with recycling materials or industrial raw materials
Familiarity with:
HS Codes classification
Customs clearance processes
Export/import documentation
Ability to work remotely and coordinate across multiple parties
Strong problem-solving mindset (this is NOT a routine desk job)

Preferred (Big Advantage
):
Previous experience with recycling or waste management industry
Existing network with customs brokers or logistics agents in Libya/Egypt
Understanding of environmental compliance requirements
Important Note:
This role requires hands-on operational experience. Candidates with only theoretical knowledge will not be considered.
