Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy.

Must have intermediate computer skills to enter data in Truck-Mate, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
10 – key by touch experience is required.
Responsibilities & Duties
Schedule delivery appointments for all available loads based on the last free day to prevent per diem/demurrage fees. Check the customs status with steamship lines on all in bond moves. Review the loaded in yard report and schedule deliveries for loads that have not been prescheduled.
Track, trace, and troubleshoot all loads that have not arrived into the yard. Communicate with DSL-DM or driver if necessary and contact customer to reschedule delivery if needed in order to prevent service failure.
Check out gates and availability from the previous day and notify customers of any pending container holds.
Answer incoming customer phone calls and e-mails. See that any special needs or problems are communicated to the Operations Staff to ensure proper fulfillment. Discuss customer needs or problems with VP of Operations or National Sales Manager if needed.
Update customer data, freight bills and spread sheets to ensure containers are scheduled for pickup and delivery to ensure on time deliveries. Verifying that all charges are guaranteed and collectable.
Work with the Dispatch Team to ensure proper coverage of available drivers to loads and loads to drivers.
