About the role
- Act as the main point of contact for all parties involved in assigned account contracts, delivering high-quality, proactive, and timely customer service.
- Handle and process large volumes of routine and complex import/export transactions for clients.
- Create shipment-specific quotes by estimating costs for shippers, choosing appropriate transportation providers, and determining profit margins.
- Prepare bills of lading and provide the team with clear instructions for managing each shipment.
- Ensure compliance with all domestic and international shipping regulations.
What we need from you
- At least one year of experience in the ocean freight industry
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Confident computer skills, including use of MS Outlook, Excel, and Word
