Job Summary
LUCKY LEE TRUCKING
Is currently needing hotshot drivers in the Odessa/Midland area ASAP, top pay is 30% of ticket according to experience, must have a clean driving record.
Clean drive record
Pass DOT drug screen
Need over 2 years experience in hotshoting
Must keep up with maintenance/services on truck and trailer.
Responsibilities
Operate commercial vehicles such as flatbed trucks, and gooseneck trailers
Execute route driving efficiently to meet delivery schedules.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
Load and unload cargo as necessary, ensuring proper handling of materials.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours driven and vehicle inspections.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery status and any issues that may arise.
Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
Assist in training new drivers on safe driving practices and company protocols.
Experience
Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar commercial driving role is preferred.
Familiarity with operating manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
Experience with route driving and freight handling is highly desirable.
Knowledge of safety regulations related to the transportation industry is essential.
