Position: Highway Maintenance Core Operator Role
Join Miller as a Highway Maintenance Core Operator, dedicated to maintaining and repairing critical infrastructure in an outdoor setting.
Your role involves hands-on work with heavy equipment, ensuring highway safety and compliance.
We’re looking for a skilled operator with a Class DZ license and road maintenance experience. Strong knowledge of OTM book 7 and mechanical skills are essential for this position. You’ll handle tasks such as pothole repairs, sign installations, and debris removal, ensuring safety during day, night, and weekend shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Repair potholes and maintain guardrails as needed
• Install or replace highway signs and ensure compliance
• Support Emergency Response Team during incidents
• Conduct daily checks and maintain equipment
• Complete documentation including incident reports and logs
Requirements:
• Class DZ license required for road operations
• Experience in road maintenance and OTM book knowledge
• Mechanically inclined for equipment handling
• Ability to lift 50lbs and basic computer skills
• Willing to work on call during various shifts
