HGV Technician needed

Our client, one of the leading specialists in heavy freight and provider of a general haulage services , is seeking for a HGV Technician to join their team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with the right expertise to take on a vital role in maintaining and servicing a fleet of heavy goods vehicles.
Role: HGV Technician
Hours:
Monday to Friday – 7:00 am – 5:30 pm; 50 hours per week , overtime hour and half
Location:
Stockport
Key responsibilities:
* Perform regular maintenance and repairs on a wide range of HGVs.
* Diagnose mechanical issues and resolve them efficiently.
* Conduct inspections and safety checks to ensure vehicles meet all regulatory standards.
* Replace or repair faulty components such as engines, brakes, and transmissions.
* Maintain accurate records of work completed and parts used.
* Work effectively both independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines.
Requirements:
* Fully qualified HGV Mechanic (City & Guilds, NVQ or equivalent).
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
* Strong knowledge of HGV mechanical and electrical systems.
* Ability to work with diagnostic equipment and specialized tools.

* Excellent

and a proactive approach to work.
* A full, clean driving license is preferred.
Desirable:
* Experience with a wide range of vehicle makes and models.
* Experience in diagnostic systems and electronic repairs.
