Position: HGV Class 1 Day Driver

Monday to Friday and you maybe requited to stay out overnight.  Salary £38,740 Per Annum, plus quarterly performance related bonuses up to £2,000 As an HGV Class 1 Day Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently, maintaining the integrity of our vehicles, and adhering to all relevant regulations. Specific Responsibilities:  Conducting daily vehicle checks according to company procedures to ensure roadworthiness.
Promptly reporting any vehicle defects in accordance with company protocol. Assisting with the loading and unloading of company vehicles. Communicating any customer complaints to the Transport team for resolution. Compliance with all current EU road transport regulations. Ensuring that freight is securely loaded onto the vehicle and not exceeding weight or capacity limits. Maintaining cleanliness and presentability of the vehicle.
Reporting vehicle defects immediately in accordance with company procedures. Key Skills /
Experience:
Possession of a valid HGV LGV Class 1 licence. Possession of a valid Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (DCPC Card). Possession of a Digital Tachograph card. No more than 6 points on your driving licence. Prior commercial driving experience. Ability to report customer complaints and vehicle defects in line with company procedures.
