Key Responsibilities:
Driving
Duties
:
Safely operate an HGV 2 vehicle to deliver timber products to various locations.
Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies.
Maintain accurate delivery records and logs.
Warehouse
Duties
:
Assist in the loading and unloading of timber products.
Perform general warehouse duties, including picking, packing, and organizing stock.
Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment as needed.
Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, and safe.
Assist with
inventory management
and stock control.
Requirements:
Valid HGV 2 (Category
C) driving license.
CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification.
Proven experience as an HGV driver.
Forklift license is desirable.
Good knowledge of health and safety regulations.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent
communication skills
