Job Description
We are in search of an EXPERIENCED equipment diesel technician/mechanic to join our team. The candidate must be able to work on various makes and models of heavy construction equipment. The employee will be on the road but will also work at our yard. The job requires a valid driver’s license, experience with diesel powered heavy construction equipment, a strong work ethic, and enthusiasm in the workplace.
Tools and training are offered, and any years of experience in diesel mechanics are welcome. We need field and on-site technicians.

Responsibilities
Perform minor and major repairs on construction equipment
Conduct regular preventative maintenance and periodic maintenance
Maintain parts inventory and cleanliness in the shop
Perform regular diagnostic tests on equipment with and without proprietary manufacturer communication software
Collaborate with other employees and management to diagnose problems and plan repairs
Maintain accurate records of each repair performed on vehicles
CDL Driving License (Class A is a plus)
Desired Qualifications/Skills
5+ years’ experience as a Diesel Mechanic
Knowledge in Heavy Equipment Hydraulics and Electrical systems, able to troubleshoot
Ability to use manufacturer software for diagnoses
Ability to lift up to 45 pounds
Excellent reading and writing skills
Basic computer skills
