Greenfield – Burton Mine Complex
BUMA Australia has been awarded the contract to develop and mine several satellite pits that are near the old Burton Mine Complex. Coal extracted at these satellite pits will be transported and processed through the Burton CHPP and railed from the onsite Train Load Out facility. Burton coal is world renowned for its high-quality coking coal and is well sought after in the global export markets.
About the Role:
We are seeking a full time permanent Heavy Diesel Fitter to join our team. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for servicing and maintaining our CAT, Hitachi, and Liebherr equipment.
About You:
Relevant diesel fitter / heavy vehicle trade qualification or equivalent
Proven experience with Caterpillar / Hitachi / Liebherr machinery desirable
High levels of initiative and the ability to work well under pressure
Safety focus with a high attention to detail to abide by site safety processes
Current Standard 11 or willingness to obtain

7/7 Roster, working hours are 12hr 20mins for the first 6 shifts and 10hrs on the 7th shift to assist employees in traveling home within fatigue hours
