We’re Hiring: Strategic Partnerships & Business Development Manager
Location: Cairo, Egypt
Employment Type: Full-Time
Compensation: moderate base salary + high-performance uncapped commission structure
FreightEx, a fast-growing force in Egypt’s logistics sector, is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Strategic Partnerships & Business Development Manager to join our team.
This role is ideal for a commercially driven professional with a deep understanding of freight forwarding and shipping, someone ready to build on an existing client base and drive real growth.
Key Requirements:
– Minimum 3 years of commercial/sales experience in a freight forwarding company or shipping line (this is mandatory)
– Fluent in English – both spoken and written
-In-depth knowledge of import/export shipping operations & market trends/seasonality
-Experience in reefer cargo is a strong advantage
– Must bring an active, well-maintained client portfolio
– Strong communication, negotiation, and closing skills
– Highly motivated, target-driven, and self-managed
Responsibilities:
Develop and expand strategic partnerships across target trade lanes
Drive revenue and volume growth by onboarding and managing clients
Promote FreightEx’s full-service offering including FCL, LCL, reefer, and value-added logistics solutions
Collaborate with leadership on pricing, market development, and commercial strategy
