Responsible for entire logistics including warehousing, transportation of goods of CP & Lighting BU’s and management of operations of logistics functions across regions. Accountable for effective handling budgets and cost efficiencies & managing relationships with the 3PL partners, CFAs, transporters.
• Overseeing efficient management of central. Regional & Branch warehouse operations including management of all India CFAs and their commercials operational terms.
• Overseeing warehouse space management as per annual budgets and monitoring warehouse efficiencies as per terms of contract.
• Overseeing good inventory management of warehouses as per norms and bad inventory management & liquidation drives.
• Handling and maintain aged inventory and tracking and maintaining minimum level of MIT (Material in Transit)

• Overseeing billing and operations from branches to customers (Secondary) and daily order management from branches.
• Overseeing transportation management of both primary & secondary; driving transportation cost efficiency management.
• Handling appointment of centralized transporters and fleet owners. And finalizing contracts with transporters and periodical reviews of the same.
• Overseeing processing of transporters freight bills & arranging for release of payments, ensuring lodging / settlement of claims on centralized transporters.
• Driving process improvements and implementation as per suggested outcomes of internal and process audits.
