Go Shipping S.A. is seeking an Groupage Import Operations & Transit Specialist to join our team in Piraeus.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily coordination, tracking and documentation of LCL/groupage import consolidations, cross-docking shipments and transit cargo moving to the Balkan
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily tracking of LCL/groupage shipments and monitor estimated arrival dates.
- Receive and review pre-alert documentation for all consolidations.
- Collect and register invoices from suppliers, overseas agents, shipping lines, co-loaders and all other parties involved.
- Prepare Excel files for the PCDC warehouse for each consolidation, in cooperation with the relevant internal colleagues.
- Upload T1 copies and other customs documents to the relevant shipment files.
- Prepare weekly operational reports.
Candidate Profile
- Previous experience in freight forwarding, LCL/groupage operations, shipping, import operations, customs transit or logistics is preferred but not a must.
- Ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities simultaneously.
- Good communication and coordination skills, good knowledge of Greek and English.
- Good command of Microsoft Excel and MS office applications.
- Experience with freight-forwarding ERP systems (ORIAN) will be considered an asset.
