Ground Courier
POSITION INFO:
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Ground Courier to ensure the safe and timely collection and delivery of parcels while maintaining excellent service standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for route deliveries, collections, accurate documentation, and vehicle care. Minimum Requirements Matric (Grade 12) Valid Driver''s Licence (Code 08 or equivalent) with a valid PDP Minimum 1 year''s experience in the logistics or courier industry Good knowledge of local routes and surrounding areas Physically fit and able to lift, carry, and load parcels up to 20-25 kg Strong communication, organisational, and time management skills Good attention to detail and customer service skills Key Responsibilities Collect and deliver parcels safely and within required service levels Load, unload, and handle cargo accurately and efficiently Complete proof of delivery (POD) documentation and collection paperwork Maintain regular communication with supervisors throughout the day Ensure all deliveries, collections, and cargo are accurately recorded and processed Inspect and care for the assigned delivery vehicle Adhere to all company procedures, safety standards, and delivery schedules Key Skills Route Planning & Time Management Customer Service Communication Skills Attention to Detail Teamwork Adaptability Organisational Skills Safe Cargo Handling Problem-Solving
