The Basics
Location:
Stella, NE
Compensation: $20/hr and up
Days/
Hours:
This job will be 1st shift. Usual hours are 7:30am to 4:30pm Monday-Friday, with some OT, including weekends.
Equipment Used:
Various grain handling equipment, mainly conveyors and legs
Material Handled:
Bulk commodities: wheat, corn, soybeans, etc

What you’ll be doing:
The duties of this
hands-on
job will include grain receiving, storage, handling, drying, blending, and loading of grain; monitoring stored grain condition; and maintaining and cleaning grain facilities and equipment to provide a safe environment for you and fellow Team Members. Grain Elevator Operators will be cross-trained to perform a variety of tasks.
Requirements to be successful in this position:
* High school diploma or GED
* Reliable transportation
* For safety reasons, must be able to read, write, understand and follow written and/or verbal instructions in English
* Available to work overtime and weekends
* Professional demeanor (safety conscious, quality of job performance, cleanliness, and verbal communications)
* Able to pass a criminal background check

* This job can be physically strenuous
* You will be expected to be able to work in tight and confined spaces
* You will work at heights
* You will need the ability to frequently lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds and occasionally more
* This job will require the ability to ascend/descend ladders
* You will be required to wear PPE
