Our client is a global logistics solution provider
Oversee and lead the Freight Forwarding Business Group, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic direction
Formulate and implement mid-term strategies and business plans to achieve growth and profitability
Plan and monitor business and operational performance, manage customer relationships, and develop team members to drive business growth
Manage team operations, provide operational solutions, and ensure processes meet business and customer requirements
Monitor and review team performance, making necessary adjustments to align with strategic objectives
Align processes, resource planning, and team goals with the overall strategy of the Business Group
Ensure effective coordination and information flow within and across teams
Secure competitive air and sea freight rates and reliable shipping services in line with procurement strategy
Requirements
Minimum of 15 years of experience in the logistics industry, with at least 10 years in a management role.
Extensive knowledge of Freight Forwarding (both Air and Sea), International Trade Legislation Compliance, Logistics & Supply Chain Management, Cargo Services/Operations Pricing, Cross Border logistics, Business Process Improvement, and Vendor Management
Strong business acumen, data analysis, and project management skills
Excellent leadership, people management, problem-solving, analytical, and systematic thinking abilities
High level of accountability, commitment, adaptability, and ability to thrive under high pressure
Customer-focused with a strong orientation towards collaboration and teamwork
Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Proficient in business English, both spoken and written
