Job Summary:
This role will oversee and optimize the company's global freight operations, focusing on cost efficiency and regulatory adherence. The analyst will manage carrier relationships, negotiate rates, and ensure all international shipments comply with trade regulations. Key responsibilities include analyzing shipping spend, implementing cost-saving strategies, and providing support to employees worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage global freight contracts and leverage preferred suppliers.
- Analyze shipping data to identify cost savings and automation opportunities.
- Ensure international shipments comply with customs and trade laws.
- Support employees with shipping inquiries and best practices.
- Monitor carrier performance and negotiate service level agreements.
