SUMMARY
The Loader is responsible for loading cartons on outbound trailers. The Loader is required to load a trailer in an organized fashion, protecting product from damage, and conserving as much space as possible to maximize the cube. They are also required to verify they are loading the correct store in the order it needs to be in the trailer.
JOB DUTIES
Hand loads boxes from the end of a conveyor into the trailer. Boxes and totes are stacked approximately 106& high and can weigh up to 97 pounds.
Loads non-conveyable cartons delivered via pallet by hand loading them on to the conveyor.
Required to push freight down the gravity rollers from time to time to allow the freight to flow.
All other task and duties as assigned.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Stand or walk on concrete for 8-12 hours per day
Climb flights of metal stairs and/or metal ladders
Hand-eye coordination for operating equipment
Sit, stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, push, pull and twist
Lift and move 65 lbs. unassisted and 75 lbs. assisted
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Education Minimum: High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience Minimum: 0-2 years of warehouse experience and/or power equipment experience

Range of Pay for Position (Final pay rate is based on experience and qualifications): $18.00-$24.00
