Our client is a logistics group that provides multinational forwarders, shipping lines, airlines, warehousing, ecommerce express parcel agency services etc. As the business continues to grow, they are looking for a General Manager and the position is based in Bangkok Thailand.
Key job responsibilities
Manage the overall business for the Thailand market and provide leadership to the team
Work with senior management to plan and execute business strategies
Identify business opportunities, cover profit and loss for the market
Liaise with external business partners to build strong relationships with them
Liaise with different offices on the overall business plan for the region
Monitor the business performance and execute growth strategies
Promote the company brand name to the market
Provide guidance to the team and groom the employees
Key requirements
Bachelor’s degree or other qualifications
At least 15 years of experience in logistics industry, familiarize with international freight forwarder
Proven track record in business development
Strong track record in team management and leadership skills
Strong understanding of Thailand logistics industry trend and market landscape
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Native Thai language
