LeRoux Kitchen was founded in 1980 on Martha’s Vineyard and has since grown into a small chain of kitchen housewares stores, with 5 locations throughout New England. We strive to connect people through cooking and offer a wide assortment of products for cooks of all levels.
LeRoux Kitchen is looking for a full-time, year-round Freight Receiver. This position will fulfill a variety of functions including coordinating inventory, loading and checking in freight, shipping customer orders and back stocking merchandise. Candidates should be detail oriented and organized. They should be self-directed but also able to work as part of a team whenever needed. The position also requires time spent on the sales floor as needed, providing LeRoux-quality customer service.
Requirements:
This is a hands-on role. You should enjoy working in a busy retail environment with the ability to multi-task. Previous experience with a retail POS system is preferred. Must be able to lift up 25-30lbs and 50lbs with assistance.
Driving a company vehicle for the purpose of transferring merchandise among stores may be required. A valid driver’s license is required for this position. Please include cover letter and resume with application. We look forward to meeting you!
