Role Description
We are seeking a full-time, remote FTL, LTL, and Drayage Dispatcher to coordinate and oversee the successful shipment of freight. Responsibilities include scheduling and dispatching carriers, monitoring transit progress, maintaining communication with drivers, and resolving any service issues or delays. This role also involves collaborating with the carrier network to negotiate competitive rates and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Experience in scheduling, dispatching, and coordinating FTL, LTL, and drayage shipments
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills to maintain carrier relationships and service standards
- Proficiency in using logistics management software and tracking systems
- Knowledge of freight regulations and compliance requirements
- Effective communication and organizational skills to liaise with carriers and clients
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced remote environment
- Previous experience in the transportation or logistics industry is preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field is a plus
