Key Responsibilities:
Cost Analysis and Reporting:
Analyze and track shipment-related costs for all eCommerce orders.
Generate and maintain reports on shipment expenses, including comparisons to budgeted costs, historical data, and industry benchmarks.
Identify discrepancies or anomalies in 3PL shipment costing and work with relevant teams to resolve them.
Cost Optimization:
Collaborate with operations team to identify opportunities for reducing shipment costsÂ
Work with third-party logistics providers (3PL) to optimize the efficiency of shipments and reduce costs.
Billing and Payment Coordination:
Verify freight invoices, ensuring accurate billing of shipment costs.
Coordinate with the finance team to process and reconcile shipment-related payments.
 Data Management and System Integration:
Ensure accurate data entry into logistics and finance systems related to shipment costs.
Leverage technology and software (e.g., TMS, ERP systems) to track, calculate, and report shipment expenses efficiently.
Assist in system integration for shipment cost automation and process improvements.
Qualifications:
Experience:
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in freight/delivery logistics management, or a related field in an eCommerce or distribution.
Experience with eCommerce shipping methods and cost structures is a plus.
Familiarity with eCommerce platforms, logistics software (e.g., TMS, WMS).
Skills:
Proficient in Microsoft Excel (advanced skills for data analysis and reporting).
Knowledge of US Delivery Logistics & tariffs especially for FEDEX is a plus, however not mandatory.
