Position Overview:
We’re seeking experienced Freight Agents with a proven track record, strong industry relationships, and a transferable book of business. This is a 1099 (independent contractor) position, open to US-based candidates only. As part of the Laurel Logistics team, you’ll operate independently under our brand, backed by our support, technology, and carrier network.
Requirements:
• Active, transferable book of business
• Minimum of $6,000 in gross profit per week
• US-based (no exceptions)
• Self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset
• Strong negotiation, communication, and customer service skills
• Home office setup (phone, computer, internet)
• Knowledge of TMS systems preferred
Responsibilities:
• Manage your customer accounts and carrier relationships
• Negotiate rates, book loads, and manage shipments from start to finish
• Provide real-time updates and superior service to customers
• Solve problems quickly and professionally
• Grow your book and maintain strong profit margins
