About the Company – Emerald Logistics, a leading freight brokerage based in White Plains, NY, seeks an experienced and highly motivated Independent Freight Agent to join our team.
About the Role – We seek a results-driven professional with a proven track record of moving 7-10 loads per week and a passion for building strong client relationships. All candidates must have an existing book of business.
Responsibilities
Experience and Performance: A proven track record of successfully managing freight operations and moving at least 7-10 weekly loads.
Motivation: A self-starter who thrives in an independent role and is driven to grow their book of business.
Customer Focus: Exceptional relationship-building skills and a commitment to delivering outstanding service to shippers and carriers.
Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of freight brokerage, transportation logistics, and load planning.
Qualifications – Must have experience as a Freight broker/agent, moving loads.
Required Skills – Sales, marketing and good communication skills
