Job Summary
The Retail Clerk is responsible for ensuring that the grocery area of our supermarket is well-maintained and running efficiently. The Retail Clerk provides customers with information and support in buying their groceries. The Retail Clerk should be able to perform the physical aspects of the job such as lifting, carrying, climbing ladders, squatting, and standing for long periods of time.
The Retail Clerk duties may include preparing sale displays, ensuring the store is clean, stocking products, and processing customer orders. To exceed in this role, the ideal candidate will have a friendly and open attitude, with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
The Freight Clerk is responsible for managing the movement and storage of incoming and outgoing freight. Their duties include loading and unloading materials, ensuring the safety of goods being moved. Freight Clerks are also required to keep track of the storage locations of freight within a facility. The Freight Clerk should be able to perform the physical aspects of the job such as lifting, carrying, climbing ladders, squatting, and standing for long periods of time.
The Freight Clerk should demonstrate extensive experience in freight handling and have sound knowledge of workplace safety. Ultimately, a first-class Freight Clerk will be someone whose organizational skills contribute to highly efficient freight handling practices.
Qualifications and Skills
High school diploma or equivalent qualification required.
Proven customer service or retail experience is a plus.
Great attention to detail.
Good communication and people skills.
Ability to perform all physical aspects of the job such as lifting and carrying heavy items, climbing ladders, squatting, and standing for long periods of time.

· Indoor working conditions include exposure to fumes or airborne particles, extreme cold (non-weather), extreme heat (non-weather).
