Job Summary
Responsible for overseeing daily logistics and transportation operations to ensure the efficient movement of goods while maintaining high service standards and operational excellence. Manage end-to-end supply chain activities, optimize workflows, lead cross-functional teams, and collaborate with customers, carriers, and internal stakeholders to achieve business objectives and meet service-level agreements (SLAs).
Key Responsibilitie
- Oversee daily logistics operations, ensuring the smooth execution of transportation and delivery activities
- .Manage domestic and international shipments through air freight, sea freight, and road transportation
- .Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, airlines, customs brokers, and third-party logistics (3PL) providers
- .Plan and monitor shipment schedules to ensure on-time pickup and delivery
- .Supervise first-mile, middle-mile, and last-mile delivery operations
- .Lead, coach, and develop operations teams to improve productivity and service quality
- .Monitor operational KPIs, identify performance gaps, and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- .Optimize transportation routes and resource utilization to reduce operational costs
- .Ensure compliance with company policies, customs regulations, and international trade requirements
- .Manage customer escalations and resolve operational issues promptly
- .Collaborate with sales, customer service, warehouse, finance, and procurement teams to support business growth
- .Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers, logistics partners, and vendors
- .Prepare operational reports, analyze performance trends, and recommend process improvements
- .Ensure accurate documentation, shipment tracking, and inventory visibility throughout the logistics process
- .Drive operational excellence by implementing best practices and maintaining high customer satisfaction
