Job description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Freight Operations Coordinator to support US trucking and transportation operations. This position is ideal for candidates with experience in over-the-road (OTR) trucking, freight dispatch, track-and-trace, carrier communication, or logistics operations support.
Candidates should understand the fast-paced demands of long-haul transportation and be comfortable working with carriers, drivers, and transportation management systems.
What You Will Do:
- Follow up with carriers and drivers after loads are booked to ensure on-time execution
- Conduct pickup, transit, and delivery check calls
- Provide proactive pickup and delivery status updates
- Monitor shipment progress and identify potential service disruptions
- Communicate delays, exceptions, and service issues to internal teams
- Upload Proofs of Delivery (PODs), shipment documents, and supporting paperwork
- Update shipment statuses and notes within transportation management systems (TMS)
- Maintain accurate load records and shipment documentation
- Support dispatchers and operations teams with day-to-day transportation activities
- Assist with carrier communications and general freight operations support
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of shipment milestones
Who we are looking for:
- 1+ years of experience in US trucking, freight brokerage, dispatch, track-and-trace, logistics coordination, or transportation operations, including after hours support
- Understanding of over-the-road (OTR) trucking operations and long-haul freight movements
- Experience communicating with carriers, dispatchers, or drivers
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced operations environment
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
- Must be amenable to work onsite (Makati)
- Must be amenable to either dayshift or night shift schedule and rotating work schedule
