Role Description
The Freight Operation role is a full-time, on-site position based in Kelsterbach. Responsibilities include coordinating daily freight movements, arranging transport with carriers, and monitoring shipments to ensure timely, safe delivery. The role involves preparing and reviewing transport and customs documentation, supporting cargo consolidation, and liaising with warehousing and distribution teams. The position requires regular communication with customers and partners to provide shipment updates, handle inquiries, and resolve operational issues. The team member will also support process improvement initiatives, collaborate on project and specialized logistics, and ensure compliance with international trade and company procedures.
Main Qualifications
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to work with customers, carriers, customs authorities, and internal communication.
Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment, with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
Optional Qualifications
- Relevant experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain management is highly beneficial.
Candidates should possess Operations Management and Project Management skills to coordinate daily logistics activities and support special projects.
- Knowledge of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and transport documentation is an advantage.
- Proficiency with logistics or ERP systems and standard office software; fluency in English and German.
