Elite Resources Group is seeking Warehouse Associates to join our team!! We are hiring at one of our large companies in the city of Redlands. We are looking for Loaders/Unloaders, RF Scanner Experience and EPJ/ Picker Operators!
1st, 2nd, 3rd Shift schedule: Monday-Friday from 7am-3:30pm. Shifts may differentiate Open to OT
Pay rate: $17.10
Job Summary
The Freight Handler is responsible for assisting with overall warehouse operations including but not limited to loading, unloading, and stacking products to/from pallets, floor, or rack and other duties assigned by warehouse operations Management.
Reporting Structure
The Freight Handler is a key member of the Warehouse Operations Team and reports to the Warehouse Lead and Warehouse Operations Supervisor. This position also partners with key cross-functional team members across the organization.
Essential Functions & Key Responsibilities
Load, unload and stack merchandise onto or from pallets, floor, or racks by hand.
Separate merchandise for shipment to warehouse location or according to management’s instructions.
Maintain integrity of products through proper handling.
Affix appropriate labels to pallet or carton.
Apply shrink-wrap to pallets of merchandise.
Transport merchandise directly to shipping as required.
Use a scanner to process merchandise for accurate inventory and location tracking.
Follow company policies and procedures and maintain a safe work environment.
Qualifications & Required Experience
High school diploma or GED required.
1+ years’ experience required in a similar role in the warehouse environment.
Experience operating warehouse equipment, Reach and Forklift strongly preferred.
Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and written.
Ability to sufficiently read and comprehend freight instructions.
Possess basic mathematical skills.
Ability to stand on feet frequently for long periods of time.
Ability to lift weights of up to 75 pounds on a continual basis.
Ability to safely operate pallet jack.
Ability to perform all essential job functions at 80% efficiency within 30 calendar days.
Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet business needs, including nights and weekends.
Responsibilities
– Load and unload freight from trucks or containers
– Utilize warehouse management systems to track and organize incoming and outgoing shipments
– Perform heavy lifting tasks to move freight manually when necessary
– Operate forklifts, Hi-Lo, and other lift trucks to transport goods within the facility
– Assist with equipment repair and maintenance as needed
– Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to ensure timely and accurate handling of freight
